Karalta Cottage Kindergarten is strongly committed to ensuring that children’s safety is at the forefront of our services’ operations. At KCK we are a child safe organisation we put the best interests of children first. We are committed to ensuring children feel safe, empowered and are taken seriously if they raise concerns in relation to their safety and well-being.
We will ensure that child safety is embedded in our policies and procedures and understood and practiced at all levels of care. Management, Educators and volunteers have a responsibility to defend child’s rights, and to care and protect them to ensure their safety, welfare and wellbeing.
Our commitment extends beyond creating an environment that minimises risk or danger. We are committed to building an environment that is both child-safe and child-friendly. Together we can provide an environment in which children feel respected, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
